Freud’s Last Session, adapted into film starring Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode, pre-bought by Sony Pictures Studios

The award-winning play, Freud’s Last Session, written by Mark St. Germain and Executive Produced by Carolyn Rossi Copeland, has leapt from its humble Off-Broadway beginnings at the Marjorie S. Deane Theater to the big screen. Following the play’s rising success both in the US and abroad, the film, directed by Matthew Brown and starring Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins and Emmy nominee Matthew Goode, has been pre-bought by Sony Pictures Studios with plans to distribute in North America, the Middle East, India, Eastern Europe (excluding Russia) and on worldwide airlines.

Crossroads Live takes the iconic musical Annie on tour

Following its development at Goodspeed Opera House in 1972, Annie has graced just about every stage imaginable. Since its Broadway beginnings in 1977, the Martin Charnin (Lyrics), Thomas Meehan (Book), and Charles Strouse (Score) musical has had two revivals (1997 & 2012), a Madison Square Garden limited run (2007), a Columbia Pictures Film (1982), a Wonderful World of Disney TV Movie (1999), a Sony/Columbia Pictures Remake (2014), has been translated into 28 languages, and has played in 34 different countries. Goodspeed produces World Premier musical Summer Stock

Filled with exuberant dance numbers and hits from the American songbook, Summer Stock is adapted from the MGM/Warner Bros. film of the same name and will run July 7 – August 27 at Goodspeed. Music supervision will be by Tony Award-winner Doug Besterman (Broadway/Orchestrations: Thoroughly Modern Millie (Tony Award), The Producers (Tony Award), Fosse (Tony Award). Music direction will be by Goodspeed’s Resident Music Director Adam Souza. Summer Stock will be choreographed and directed by one of Canada’s most versatile and in-demand creative talents Donna Feore (Stratford Festival: Chicago, Billy Elliot; 5th Avenue Theatre: Broadway Vacation).
